A devastating dog attack involving a 12-year-old boy has become the center of a heated civil lawsuit, with surveillance footage now playing a major role in determining who may ultimately be held responsible.

The case began after a pit bull reportedly attacked a group of boys walking through a residential neighborhood. According to reports, the youngest child, Zayden Perez, suffered the most severe injuries after the dog knocked him to the ground and continued attacking him for nearly 25 minutes.
